November Stamp of the Month - It's the Little Things

I was part of a Stamp of the Month Swap with a few other area Close to my Heart consultants and I had to use the November stamp, It's the Little Things.

Here is a double page layout I made.

LOTS of fussy cutting but the results makes it all worth it.

GreenHearts Team July Blog Hop "Anything Goes"

Hello and welcome to the July GreenHearts Close to my Heart Team Blog Hop.  If you came here from Sandra's Blog, you are on the right path.

This month, the team is featuring different items from the Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book.

Today, I am showcasing the Close to my Heart Paper Fundamentals - Basic Assortments.

I really love how versatile these cardstock based papers are and you get 20 double-sided 12" × 12" sheets (2 each of 10 designs); same design on both sides, one side with a glossy resist pattern.

Here is the layout I made using two different colors of the Paper Fundamentals.

I used the CTMH Cricut Cartridge Artbooking to make the Bamboo colored overlay as well as the Always & Forever saying.

All embellishments are from Close to my Heart:
Bronze Shimmer Tape
Chocolate Stripped Ribbon (retired)

Cocoa Ribbon (retired)
Bliss Assortments (retired)
Pearl Flourishes (retired)

I am a strong believer in using what you got.  I know alot of people who buy stuff but afraid to use it just in case they need it.  Well, guess what, use it, you can always get something else for the next layout.  LOL!!!

I hope you liked my layout.  Leave me a comment before heading over to Pam's Blog to see what she used for her blog hop.

Farewell Card for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog

Here is a card I made for a co-worker who is moving on to new challenges.  She also happens to be a very dear friend and a fellow scrapbooker and Close to my Heart Consultant (I wonder who signed her up lol).

I am also submitting this in the Heart 2 Heart Challenge "Bows and Bowties"

I like going on Pinterest for inspiration.  Well, I did not need to go very far, I checked out my scrappy friend Julie's Pinterest board and found this card she made.

I wanted to do another easel card so my friend Isabelle can display it at her new job.  I chose the Ariana papers to make this card since I have not used this beautiful paper to make any cards or layout (yet).

I made the flowers with the Close to my Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and inked them with Outdoor Denim ink before twirling with the quilling tool.  I placed a Opaque Pearl in the center of each flower.  I used organdy White Daisy ribbon to make the bow.
The metallic embellishments are from last catalogue's Base & Bling line and of course the Ariana Assortment Accessories.

Everything on the card is from Close to my Heart.

I hope you like it.  Let me know your thoughts.

Wow!!! How time flies, when you are having fun...

I can't believe my last post was December 31, 2012.

Here are a few cards that I made.

The first one was made for my SFF (Scrappy Friend Forever) Julie, she posted it on her blog and well, I had to add it to my mine.  Now waiting for my card.

Made with CTMH's Buzz & Bumble Paper

This second card was made for a co-worker's birthday.

Made with CTMH's For Always Paper

This third one is for a former co-worker who has not been feeling well.

Recent Layouts

I haven't posted artwork I created lately.  Here are three layouts.

Pemberley Workshop on the Go - Featured Layout - I slightly changed it

Victory Workshop on the Go - Featured Layout.  The pictures are horizontal instead of vertical like in the guide.

Here is a layout I made using the Stella Paper Pack with inspiration from fellow Close to my Heart Consultant Sherri Tozzi from Orlando Florida.  Here is the link to her BLOG.  Sherri used Pemberley for her layout, I didn't really have pictures for that particular kit so I improvised with Stella.  Totally worth looking at her blog, she does great things with the Workshop on the Go.

Thanks for looking, let me know which one is your favorite

Studio J Layouts

You may have noticed on the right side of my blog is a Convention Counter.  Well, this means that I only have approx three weeks to wait until I leave for Dallas, Texas.

As a perk of registering for Convention, you received a free 5 pack Studio J layout.  This free perk had all of the instructions to prepare these layouts.  I did tweak with the instructions a bit but not too much.

For more information on Studio J, head to my website to find out more.  You are going to love how simple and fast it is to prepare two page layouts.

Here are the layouts I made.  Click on the pictures to view larger size.

This one I totally changed the paper because I didn't have any pictures for the original layout they prepared.

My kids at the Tulip Festival.  I love their eyes in these pics.

Love the action shots I took with my new Camera.

The title and journaling says it all for this layout.

I saved the last one for last.  I really like this one because the colors of the pictures fit so well with the layout.

So go ahead and check out Studio J

Let me know which one is your favorite.

Dotty For You pages

Well, I've been having fun playing with the Dotty for You papers from Close to my Heart.  These papers are the special for National Scrapbooking Month.  And while I was waiting for the mail to deliver me the Footloose papers from Tresa Black's 10 page workshop, I used her template and made it using Dotty for You.  It went well with my pictures from Florida.

Hope you enjoy these.

Sonoma Anniversary Card

Here is a card I made for a 50th Wedding Anniversary Card.

I worked an hour on this card and then left it on the table.  Since the event was an hour away from home, I could not come home and get it. Sigh!! I had to stop at a store and, o.k. I know you card makers may not like this but, I had to buy a card.

Well, I have an anniversary card already made up for a future event.

I am having a workshop at my House on Sunday, April 29, 2012.  We will be making the Footloose Workshop.

Basically, we will be making the two first layouts posted below.  It will start at 10:00am and finish at about 4:00pm (we usually always finish before).  Bring your own lunch.  The cost is the $37.23 (includes all taxes & shipping)

You will need to order the kit no later than April 15, 2012 to make sure you receive it before the date of the workshop.  You can send me an email at natracine14@yahoo.ca to order the paper pack or you can order it from my website http://natracine.ctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=6598&CatalogID=1733.
